Happy New Year! Here’s hoping 2010 will be as great a year for 9/11 truth activism as 2009 was!
We were back at the Rideau Center this month with 300 DVDs to hand out. There were only three of us this time; there’s been a nasty cold virus going around town lately.
Despite the cold temperature, we managed to hand out most of our discs, and had some people really excited to see us. Many thanks to Mr. Anonymous who we last saw in September; he took a bunch of discs and went all up and down the street with them, which in retrospect would have been a great way to stay warm!

For many months, we have not been able to hold our usual truth action at Lytton Plaza in downtown Palo Alto because it was fenced off for renovation. Finally the work is done, and we have access, once again, to the plaza, although it probably will be renamed. The larger trees and sign (where we used to hang some of our banners) are gone. The wall blocking street noise (which we used to climb on top of to hang banners) is also gone. A new addition is a fountain, which makes a pleasant sound, but doesn't make it easier to hold rallies or play poltical music, the fountain is directly across the sidewalk from our tabling spot. Fortunately, we had good weather and an interesting day...
One of the first people who approached us claimed that he was a counter-terrorism expert from the Department of Justice who had done some of the work in Oklahoma City, and had spent three months investigating the Pentagon, in the wake of 9/11. He was with his young child, and had another child at the Stanford Hospital, who had just undergone heart surgery. He was quite nice, open to information, but full of contradictions- supporting the official story, and at the same time saying that what they learned on the ground was not what appeared in the report, and that there were major discrepancies and many things "left out."
We also had an extensive conversation with a photo-journalist of Italian descent who agreed with us and greatly appreciated our efforts. He shared his own experiences of how he had lost friends when he sent them links to the damning videos that challenged the official story. He noted how resistant Americans were to the idea that "9/11 was an inside- job" and thatin his experience, it was more obvious to those outside the US that the official story was not true.
A local tv station was doing a story on a panhandler who was challenging Palo Alto in court over the Constitutionality of its panhandling laws. At the moment, it is illegal for someone to sit or lay on the sidewalk. I spoke with the reporter who included a shot of our tabling effort in his story to illustrate how tabling was tolerated and people were allowed to use the sidewalk for "political purposes." I hope the panhandler wins his case; I'd prefer that the police protect, rather than violate our Constitutional rights, particularly "Free Speech."
I did finally remember to bring a camera, and I'll upload pictures when I figure out how to do that, but here's a shot from the local tv station's story, which is posted at - http://cbs5.com/video/[email protected].
A few people helped pass out Deception Dollars and respond to the public, including Chuck Millar, Tian Harter, and a friend from San Jose, who donated a case of "The Hundredth Monkey" to the cause.
We had some great summer Wellington weather for our first 11th of the month event in 2010... OK, it was cool, but at least it wasn't raining
There were three of us this time, TruthMama, J, and yours truly. This was our second appearance in Cable Car Lane on Lambton Quay. We were well equipped with a variety of DVDs in plastic cases and sleeves, and some smart AE911Truth flyers. Wellington is still a bit quiet this time of year, but despite that we had, if not our best event, one that at least came close, distributing at least 350 DVDs and flyers. We hung our new super-sized and very eye-catching AE911Truth banner. We were there between 4 and 6 pm.
Shortly after I arrived I engaged a group of 6 young people who gathered to have a group smoko right across from me. One or two of them were 9/11-aware, but the others weren't. After a brief discussion they offered to help out for a few minutes which broadened our demographic for a while.
One of them said that he had heard that the Holocaust didn't actually happen and that he had disturbed his parents by bringing this up. I encouraged him to be a little more thoughtful in how he discussed this topic with others. I told him that while we don't know the exact number, there is no doubt that there were millions of people killed by the Nazis in what we now call The Holocaust. I encouraged all of them to research the other holocausts that occurred at that time and afterwards, including the mass murders in the Soviet Union and China, and the current holocaust in the Middle East. I said that rather than deny The Holocaust it is better to say that there have been far too many holocausts, and that they don't deny any of them.
Whew! I never know what I'm going to run into out there.
Each time we meet more and more people who are aware of 9/11. Several people mentioned the successful event at Te Papa last November. The interview that Richard Gage had with Kim Hill came up once. We agreed that Richard handled himself very well in the interview, especially in exposing Kim's psychological block that prevents her from examining the evidence with an open mind.
We had some other good encounters, and may have recruited at least one new member. Our core group has grown and strengthened over the last year and a half. It's still an uphill battle, but we have gained some good traction in the battle for truth.

EDMONTON, CANADA
Quote:
January 11th day actions began 48 hours earlier on the 9th. as Emily took advanage organizing an afternoon civil information event in front of a very slushy, mild temperature, farmers market, well attended by Edmontonians every Saturday. Hundreds of free handouts were shared with shoppers and the reception was very friendly. Later Doug joined Emily after hanging posters on downtown kiosks. The posters reported the recent comments made on Canada's CBC Fifth Estate ( like your CBS sixty minutes) that indeed 1 in 3 Canadians have trouble buying into the official 9/11 story.
The following day: Sunday the 10th. Doug continued hanging posters and began his first interview project with Edmontonians on their take of that 1 in three Canadians questioning the crimes of 9/11. (second youtube video). Doug hopes to interview dozens all this month, produce several rough-cut youtubes and later in February release a jam pacted youtube with highlights from those interviews.
January 11th day actions wrapped up with the final distribution of the public newsletters " The Civil Information Activist" and hanging more posters downtown. Both active 2010 newsletter and poster can be viewed at www.CIActivist.org.
Saturday Jan. 9Th, Day 1, Farmers Market
Sunday Jan. 10, Day 2 , Interviews: CBC-The Fifth Estate
" 1 in 3 Canadians doubt the official story of 9/11"
Monday Jan. 11th 2010: Poster[ing]
and last of the 9/11 Newsletters
I can't say exactly how many kilometers I've walked (hundreds) or how many 9/11 truth posters I've posted on kiosks around town (Thousands)... But you can imagine how I felt when I learned of a local weekly magazine published a movie review about a J.F.Kenndy film and the reviewer refered to those 9/11 truth posters all around town. http://www.seemagazine.com/article/screen/screen-review/jfh0409/
Fact is hardly a week goes by where Edmontonians are not reminded the official story by the 9/11 is in very serious question. It was in Edmonton former defence Minister Gordon O Connor uttered those damaging words RETRIBUTION IN AFGHANISTAN FOR 9/11 and the 24 CANADIANS MURDERED... http://www.canada.com/ottawacitizen/news/story.html?id=3a784a6c-a6fc-490e-bccd-62cefb82cbad
Damaging to Canada because we've lost Since 2002, 138 Canadian soldiers and one diplomat, one journalist and two aid workers for O Connor's retribution and thats just our loss, In Afghanistan the murder of civilians has increased , and just under half were murdered by US and allied forces NATO... Sadly 70% were women and children. UN's most recent report: http://www.un.org/apps/news/story.asp?NewsID=31636&Cr=afghan&Cr1=civilian
"Retribution" with-out ever having a criminal investigation of 9/11 and the 24 Canadians murdered first...

LONDON
January 11th 2010 saw 2 actions taking place. The first was outside the United States Embassy in support of the London Guantánamo Campaign's demonstration to mark the eighth anniversary of the opening of the Guantánamo Bay detention camp on 11 January 2002 - which is still holding around 200 prisoners locked up indefinitely.
Around 40 people made it to Grosvenor Square and braved the freezing temperatures to hear speakers including journalist Andy Worthington, Chloe Davies from human rights organisation Reprieve and Jean Lambert Green MEP.
The second action of the day took place outside BBC Television Centre. Around a dozen activists turned up to ensure that every single employee entering and exiting the BBC headquarters received information detailing the overwhelming need for a new independent investigation into the events of 9/11 - those that engaged in conversation with us were supportive.

35 wonderful human souls showed up for the 11th of the month truth action. We had 2 our big beautiful blue banners on the Sunset Blvd overpass at the Hollywood Freeway. We have to find a new location, because everybody in the Hollywood area seems to be aware of 9-11 Truth! We had such a positive response. What a great day! Maybe it was because we had so many positive beings reaching out to others. Thanks to all!

WE ARE CHANGE OTTAWA goes to the Prorogation Rally on Jan 23rd,2010 in hope to wake up a few minds. This was a rally because Stephen Harper prrorogued the Government and this caused an uproar with the general public. We encountered some people who agreed with our points of views on the North American Union, 9/11 Truth and Climate Change and many more than did not agree. Hopefully we exposed many of them of messages not seen on the mainstream and they can begin to ween themselves off the controlled mainstream media. _________________ Tyrone

Here is the summery to those interviews...
